Hey y'all!
Again I have to apologize for taking so long to update my blog. For a brief update, my life has been going well. The holidays were great! Skiing in Oregon took up a large part of December, and my niece was born right in time for the new year on January 2, weighing huge 9 pounds and 11 ounces!!! I still can't believe Jo did it. Anyway, she's now over three months old and is totally adorable. (and I'm not just saying that because I'm her aunt;) ) She's a beautiful baby and she just recently found she can coo and make cute little baby noises:). I actually just recently visited Rich and Jo, and Bella's house while my parents were out of the country and I had a wonderful time babysitting and playing with the sweet little angel.
Well, more besides school has been going on in my life the past couple months. My first real travel out of the state was going to Moscow ID, for David and Deb's wedding. I had a blast and it was so hard to leave! I flew in on the Wednesday before the wedding and was in time to go to a bachelorette party for Deborah! Now I've never heard of a "bachelorette party", but when Val first told me of it, I just knew it was going to be cute and would be a must when I get married! ;D It did end up being a wonderful party and was relaxing and enjoyable. Everyone had such a great time and no one could stop laughing! The party really started when sweet Naomi Adams began a game. She asked Deb questions about David to see how well she really knew him. (the fun of it was that Naomi already had the answers straight from David's mouth. ) Whenever Deb got the wrong answer, she was forced to chew another large piece of bubble gum. (let me tell y'all, by the end of it, she had a mouth full.)
The bridesmaid's luncheon was really beautiful. (Valerie, I loved the polka dot tissue paper in the gifts for everyone! It was adorable) The place was lovely, and it was girls' time out with Deb. (but more formal than the bachelorette party!) The rehearsal went well. Pastor Wilson actually a really good director and the time passed fast. The dinner was wonderful and Kristin Beauchamp did a really neat job with decor for the table.
THEN the wedding day finally arrived and started out with getting hair and makeup done at the Foucachon's. Pics were taken at the church, and finally after the guests crowded into the sanctuary, the wedding party went down the aisle. ( Thankfully no one passed out or anything! We bridesmaids had a plan for ourselves if one of us DID happen to feel a little faint though!) After the whole ceremony (which was well said thanks to Mr. Foucachon) the reception finally came. The gym was totally transformed, and I was so impressed..... and to think that there really was not much time to set up everything too.) The wine and cheese was delicious along with the rest of the food. Finally the time for dancing came. Dancing has always been a big part of my family's life. (ballroom particularly) Dad has taught me a lot, though we do not practice enough to remember all the choreography and routines. I LOVE the swing so I was glad that that kind of dancing was there. It was interesting to see the contrast between my dad dancing with me and then the younger men. As for my dad, he likes to take things slower and enjoy every minute of the dance. This was not for David and Daniel Foucachon, however, as the they were much more active! David Kong was also a really good swinger, and was energetic also! As for me, I just love it all!
I didn't cry during the wedding, but came close when the bride and groom left. Since I've known Deb all my life, it was sad to finally realize she was no longer a Foucachon! :)
Well, after all the details I've written about the wedding, I hope you do not think that this has been the only thing going on in my life! But the trip was wonderful, and I met a ton of really cool people.
I will be traveling once again ( oh and I'm starting to get tired of packing ;) ) to Selma, Alabama with my really close friend and her family. We're going camping and will attend a reenactment. I am most excited about the civil war ball! Yes, I will soon be dancing again. (but this time in a very different style!) I now will have a somewhat period correct ball gown too, along with all the other reenactors. This is a large part of my late spring break. (which by the way has been really nice!)
Well, that's pretty much the basic update. I've already named the biggest events so far this year that I've been a part of. School is fine, although I'm not looking forward to working on my forty-hour long project, term paper, and other projects needed to be finished after my break. Classes are fine, family is fine, so besides what I've already written about, my life has been pretty normal.
Well, that's all for now~

Wow, it's been the longest time since I've posted anything. Apology to my readers. Life has been very busy. Busy, however for the good. Although I would love to have more time on the internet posting on my blog, I've been doing more important things lately. My Christendom class, has taken much time for the better. It's not just Christendom, but all the rest of life too. This has been an especially busy year for my Mom, and you can pray for her. She really needs a long break. She is an amazing woman, and is always doing something. Whether it is teaching a music class, or keeping up a big house.

Well, Thanksgiving is almost here and of course I'm excited. My family makes a big deal about Thanksgiving, so we cook tons of food, feast a lot, and spend time with all of the family. All my brothers and my grandparents will be here. Whenever everybody's around there's almost always a little celebration. Most of the four either live in a different state, or city, so it's very fun when everyone's home.
Christmas is coming soon also. Wow, the years fly by. I remember when I was a child, a day would be forever! But everyone knows that's just life. Well, right before Christmas, some of my family are going skiing in Utah. We will ski the slopes and soak up the cold weather, and then come home the day before Christmas Eve. (Which is what I love. I'm not particularly crazy about spending Christmas somewhere besides home.) I will most likely spend Christmas here with most of the family. We will not have a New Year's party as we usually do, because we have another little person joining the family. My sister in law is due Dec. 31.
So not much new has been going on new besides what I've said above. I hope that YOU have great Thanksgiving and Christmas, and thanks for visiting Lady Katherine's Blog.

While my parents will be in China, probably seeing the GREAT WALL . . .

I will be across the Pacific Ocean in Atlanta, Georgia visiting my brother and his wife!

OFF TO CHINA . . . . AND OFF TO GEORGIA!
Greetings. Here is the newest news. On July 27 my mom and dad fly out of Sweet Home Alabama, over oceans and mountains, to exotic China! Dad is very excited about it, but Mom is still getting used to their going, and will need big prayers during the long flight. (more than ten hours!) This is not a missionary trip, but for pure enjoyment! Dad found in an article once that if you want to China, now is the time to go! Because many of the old and ancient parts are going to be torn down because of the olympics, that is the reason to go now. They are going to go on tours starting at Bejjing, and ending up in Shanghai. During their more than two week trip, my sister and I will be visiting my brother and his wife at their home in Atlanta, Georgia. I am very much looking forward to spending a lot of time with them. Whether I will be cooking, cleaning, or watching movies, I am very glad that I will be staying with them.
Adios!

Thousands of years ago Pharoph sent out a law that all the boy jew babies were to be killed for fear that they would someday take over his reign. Therefore he had soldiers take them out their homes by force to be killed. That is happening today, except no one is forcing the other to kill boy babies. It's not only boy babies but girls too. All across American this is happening......and it is called abortion. Some people may not think so, but scientists have proven that abortion stops a BEATING heart. People everyday are murdering babies. Therefore, the government punishes criminals for killing people but fail to put a law against abortion clinics. America HAS to stop this. Tons of people that could have had great lives never got the chance to live them because of abortion. So let us all stand up AGAINST abortion.....this evil that Jesus Christ said through the Bible is sinful.
